Written for the questions you bring
Our guides help you make sense of property papers and prepare for a useful conversation. We explain what to look for, what to ask and when a document needs a closer review. They are published by Proplegal as general information.
When your own documents need checking
A guide cannot tell us the history of your particular home or plot. If you need a legal opinion, an advocate needs to examine the relevant records and facts. We explain the person’s role and the work involved before you decide to go ahead.
Checking current information
Rules, charges and processes can change. We link to official resources where useful and avoid presenting one fee or timeline as the answer for every property. An official link is a reference for you to check; it does not mean the authority has reviewed this page or endorsed Proplegal.
Older articles
Some pages began on our earlier website. We keep useful article addresses available and make historical context clear. An archive note or old market report should not be read as a current price, office listing or statement about your property.
Something doesn’t look right?
Please send the page link and tell us which point needs checking. You do not need to send confidential papers to report a wording error.
